DERMAL FILLER AFTERCARE

Dermal filler treatments results are instant. Immediately after treatment there may be some bruising, swelling, redness and / or tenderness in the treatment site. This is a normal reaction and will settle within a few hours to a few days. Avoid touching or massaging the area and do not apply makeup until the following day. Avoid extreme facial expressions, strenuous exercise, wearing makeup and drinking alcohol.This is to reduce the risk of infection and bruising. 

Until the swelling and redness has resolved avoid extreme heat eg sunbathing, saunas, hot tubs , hot wax and extreme cold eg winter sports 

After washing pat dry the area gently and do not rub it as this can displace the filler or cause an uneven appearance.

Avoid exposure to strong sunlight, saunas, facial massages and other beauty treatments. Do not schedule any dental treatment until  2 weeks post filler placement.

Don't forget to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, moisturise and wear sun protection cream.
